Our Crest. ![]() The NCC Badge consists of a shield, with the symbol of the sun in the background. Ten golden beams radiate from the sun, symbolizing the formation of our new country. Surrounding this sun is a blue ring, with the words, National Cadet Corps. Another 122 golden beams radiate outwards ending at the edge of the shield, symbolizing unity and strength. Below the shield is a banner inscribed with the word Singapore. In the foreground is the lion, symbolizing Bravery, Courage and Strength of the youths of Singapore . The sword held by the Lion symbolizes the Defence of our country. Sitting on top of the Badge, is the State Crest. This symbolizes the fact that the National Cadet Corps is a National Body, formed by the Government of Singapore to serve the Nation's youth. |

This is where you become the better cadet than you already are. For years, members from this elite squad felt the strong bonds that withstand the test of time. These bonds are developed through activities and hardships we faced and endured. NCC by itself is an eye-opening experience, but in PDS we experience the brotherhood that we can never attain from elsewhere. Learning a new skill is challenging, nobody said it was easy, but with perserverance from you and support from fellow cadets you will be able to execute those fancy rifle drills which you thought you couldn't do. It flow like the blood in you, no hesitation and naturally. The PDS family extend our arms to welcome you. with regards SSG Ahmad Iqbal ASM 09/10 7:38:00 AM
